Leicester to sell “goal machine” as Arsenal could be back in chase that included Liverpool, Man City and Man Utd

Back in the days at RB Salzburg, Patson Daka was dubbed the next Samuel Eto’o’ and described as a “goal machine”, with a ratio of 65%, scoring 54 goals in 82 league games for the Austrian club. Man City, Arsenal, Liverpool and Man Utd were all said to be in the chase for his signature. The route to a steady first team position made him sure Leicester were the place to go, as he signed on, for a fee of £23million.

Since his league debut three years ago, he has not been seen as a regular. Jamie Vardy and Kelechi Iheanacho were allready at the club, so the fight for a starting position, with more or less only one spot to compete for, made it all difficult. In total Patson Daka has scored 16 goals in 73 league appearances since coming in.

Leicester January transfer target set for talks as move looks on with major update regarding his next destination

Stefano Sensi was as close as you get to a move to Leicester. He was flied in on last transfer window deadline day to do his medical, but as we all know it all fell through.

It was suggested that Sensi (28) would be approached again this summer, but according to the latest reports he has set his eyes on another destination.

The full list of players predicted to stay, go and potentially making their major breakthrough next season

The job to get a squad together that will be competitive and up for the challenge to survive in Premier League is probably on. There are of course major questions to be asked, as we do have a feeling of certain things to happen. Will Alves, will he be able to grab a place in the first team? looking to be part of everything and prepare of the pre-season campaign coming up. Enzo Maresca could send him out on loan and give him a chance to develope in the same tier steps as Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, patiently waiting for his major breaktrough.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, if triggering the correct transfer fee to be paid. hopefully £35million or above, he will be out. We are also concerned about Kasey McAteer, but over the moon and delighted to see Abdul Fatawu sign a long term contract.
